Sure, you can retrieve the job switches within a CL using RTVJOBA
SWS(&SWITCHES) where &SWITCHES is a character field of length eight.  Then
you can set/reset the job switches using CHGJOB SWS(&SWITCHES) or using a
literal value 'XXX1XXXX' where switch 4 is set on & others are unchanged.
