Duh ! >And as I said, I wouldn't recommend them for long term archiving. Another caviot. You can not use 8mm, 6250 reel-to-reel or 3490 for a 'native' NT backup. (A 'native' NT backup is one done from NT, so you can restore individual files.) The only tape drives that will support this are 3570 and 3590! (I bought 3490's this year! When you do a 'save option 21' (from any tape drive), NT is saved as a blob, but can only be restored as a blob!
