Buck states: "I thought that only programs had to be converted CISC/RISC. What gets converted with a file when you move from one technology to the other?" That is NOT correct. The object template has to be changed on files. However, these are changed on a restore either way CISC-RISC or RISC-CISC. The STROBJCVN commansd on a Replace-a-Release does all objects because the files etc are NOT restored. On any other upgrade to RISC, usually programs do not get converted on the restore but by the STROBJCVN command. If you review the command you will see what I mean. Peter H.
