Someone write: " Is it possible to save a file on a CISC system, restore it
to a RISC system, re-organize it on the RISC system, save it on the RISC
system and restore it to the CISC system??? My reason for doing this is to
save substantial time in re-organizing files that have a large number of
deleted records on an F35 CISC machine. Thanks in advance for any
assistance."

The answer to your question is yes, You can save on RISC *PRV to CISC
level. However, I do not think you are going to gain much time because
file will be converted to RISC on restore and file with be converted back
to CISC on the restore.
However, I would try it with a junk file first so if your procedure has
some mistakes, it will not make any difference. You don't want to do it to
the GLLIB, have a mistake and start to write a resume.
