 Here's an even more elegant solution:
 E              A     3  2
 ISCNFMT1
 I    A01                    A,01
 I    A02                    A,02
 I    A03                    A,03
 I    A04                    A,04

 There are no MOVEAs, no "extra" fields, as they map right into the array.
In ILE RPG you have some additional tricks, but this is straightforward and
works fine.
