I used basic a little. It is has a compiler. It looks like the compiled
programs would run. When changes were needed, a rewrite may me required.
Or you could get a F10 cheep, just to do the compiles.

I am not aware of any conversion tools available. AS/400 BASIC (unless
things
have changed) has _several_ built-in limitations, not the least of which is
(was?) not sharing open data paths. IMO, start your re-write with the
largest
programs and work your way down. I know, not a good answer...
