<Soap box on>I have not had the opportunity to try Synapse's products, but it seem that my NetSoft package runs circles around IBM's offerings for remote connection to the AS/400. Crashes? Hear them all the time, but they are the cars on the street out front, not my PC. Is it possible that IBM, in it's infinite wisdom, is using old versions of NS, or are the "improving" it. Just went to CA/400 on NT4.0 at a client site. This is on TCP/IP. I think prefer NetSoft's Terminal Emulation, as well as their file transfer. Unless I am doing something wrong, CA/400's file transfer is the PITS. <Soap box off> > ----Original Message----- > From: Jerome Draper [SMTP:jdraper@wco.com] > Sent: Tuesday, February 10, 1998 3:09 PM > To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com > Subject: Re: Win95 - CA/400 session limit > > At 12:36 PM 2/5/98 EST, you wrote: > >When the same set up works on Win 3.1 and not on Win 95, I'm > supposed to > blame > >IBM for not accommodating changes that M$ made and didn't > bother to document? > >Sorry, it doesn't wash.
