I too have been deluged by this overachieving 'chain letter'. Quite frankly, I find it's content to be invasive and somewhat offensive. Why in the world should I be required to disclose the Y2K status of telephone, alarm, an other unrelated systems that have ABSOLUTELY no bearing on our ability supply our product to the customer. This goes well beyond reporting on Y2K readiness. Anybody else refusing to return these surveys? -----Original Message----- From: Glenn Ericson [SMTP:Glenn-Ericson@att.net] Sent: Saturday, February 07, 1998 10:31 AM To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Subject: AIAG: Self assessment questionnaire Chris a number of +7 is unusual for an AS/400 shop - did they Mention that personnel increase against any referenc or system > Date: Mon, 02 Feb 98 10:45:19 GMT > From: "Chris Warwick" > Subject: AIAG: Self assessment questionnaire > > I am an independent Y2K consultant and, as such, distance these > comments totally from my present employer. > > I have just received a copy of the AIAG(Automotive Industry Action > Group) Self assessment questionnaire compiled by Coopers and Lybrand > and Deloitte and Touche.
