The IBM Technical Conference is the way to go!! I have not heard when the
next one will be, but I highly recommend going. Also, I have taken many of
the classes offered directly by IBM and they were excellent. The classes were
held at IBM in Tampa, Florida, but I believe they are offered near most major
cities. If you call IBM, they will send you a catalog of all of their classes
(including computer based training) and the class locations, etc. Good luck!

I was recently asked what kind of "Professional Education" offerings
 were available for Midrange folks.

I immediately thought of COMMON... but I would like to offer some
 alternative solutions.

Does IBM still hold it's "Technical Seminar"? I've heard that was/is
 good. Is it still?

Anything else available on same scale as COMMON?

 Thanks!
