Hank,
I'm curious - do you mean you set QPFRADJ to '0' everywhere you go ?
Is this because you spend a few days tuning the pools yourself ?

As for PM/400 - even without paying you get quarterly (maybe they just
changed it to semi-annual) graphs, and if you are nearing a crucial
limit (like running out of disk space) they will mail you a letter
warning you. So, it's nice for the small shops where there's no one
technical to look after this stuff.

This may have been addressed before.

We're upgrading a number of boxes to V3R2 for a large customer.
They like to
be conservative about their upgrades - it's a bank. One of the
gifts from IBM
is Performance Manager, which I've seen before. Can I get a
feeling from some
of the rest of you about the worth of keeping this on the
system?

Frankly, I've gone in and shut it down every place I've seen it
(just like
Performance Adjustment). I'm just curious if I'm missing
something, and
depriving the customer of a benefit by doing so.

        Hank Heath
