  • Subject: Lotus Notes on the IPCS and Internet E-mail

I have a client running Lotus Notes on an IPCS card in a model 40s.
Right now they are just using this to send e-mail within the 30 or so
PC's in their office. They want to attach to the Internet and be able to
send and receive e-mail that way as well.

My question is: How do I configure the AS/400 and/or Notes to use SMTP?
I have the CD for the SMTP/MIME MTA and I know that I need this.

Is anyone else doing this? If so, how well does it work out?

Thanks in advance!

David Boring

PS Office Vision is not loaded on this system, so I want to avoid
anything to do with SNADS and the system directory if possible.
