SC,

Check the comm trace,  If the status code on the first part is not all
zeros (12????? something,, I think) then the message is being split into
two records by the comm trace utility.  The 2 parts are really being sent
to your application as one message.  It took me several days and many calls
to IBM to figure out why our comm trace showed two parts even though the
data scope showed the message as one part.
