  • Subject: Hoow to end an OPM RPG program as a VCP

Using an OPM RPG program as a VCP for the CHGJOB command. When certain
conditions are met, a CPD0006 message is sent using the SNDPGMMSG API,
followed by a CPF0002 *Escape message. Probllllem is that the CPF0002
causes the program to end, but does not close the program. If user
attempts another CHGJOB command in the same session, program acts as if
a RETRN with LR *Off had been used to end the prior instance of the
program.

I could front end with a CL, but am trying to avoid the extra overhead
(and work, siiince I am lazy!) Even if I set LR *On before issuing the
CPF0002, it won't work.

Any ideaas?
