EJB is "Enterprise Java Beans", I believe (the message says "EJB system not available", not EBJ). I have run into problems where MS deactivated Java capabilities on systems after updates were applied. That was a recurring issue with the Java application I added to COM_Net2.

I've found it to be somewhat of a challenge to locate some things in Windows 7 on the Control Panel, and within IE. I haven't looked for that particular issue yet, and don't have a Win 7 system available right now, but I'd look at that. I will say if something works on a PC with Vista (gag), it has always worked for me in Win 7.

Downgrade to XP. You could have already had it installed by now.

Ok, I just set the windows 7 firewall to allow the program to communicate, both outgoing and incoming.
Getting the same EBJ message.

Just a shot in the dark, but "System is not available" sounds like
network or firewall issues to me.

The exact message is the following.

Login Failed: EJB System is not available.

I have the log file if anyone is interested.

Infor support seams not to want to help me with this, since they are not supporting Windows 7 yet. And since you can't buy a new PC with XP on it anymore. I would think that they would get onboard with Windows 7.
Normally support is really good, but in this instance, I think they are being short sighted.

Good morning,

A .EBJ file is an Error Checking Object file.
Is your error telling you that it can't open the ebj file?

I am guessing that the "E" means enterprise but I am not going to guess what the "BJ" means. :). Are you sure it is not ESB (enterprise Service Bus)?

I had to get a new PC fast and the only option has Windows 7, since
you can't hardy get good old XP anymore. I am getting a EBJ error.
Could that be a user security issue?
