Two things, first, is this a 64 bit machine? It is possible that you may need to do a little configuration work to get a 32 bit jvm up and running, and then make sure that you use that jvm when launching the powerlink client.

Second, this whole process may be easier if you use the windows xp emulator. I don't really know much about it, just had someone in the office mention it. Apparently it is available in windows 7 professional, enterprise or ultimate versions.

Hope this helps.

I can get Powerlink to work on Vista , right out of the box, no problem.
Windows 7 is somehow blocking the program. Problem is, not sure how it is doing it.

I told the firewall to allow it, turn off user control.

And going back to XP on this machine is not a option right now.

Thanks
Weston

Is it supposed to work on Vista? 7 is just Vista fixed, IMHO. Find out

what it takes to get it to work on Vista, do the same on 7, and it will probably work.

The exact message is the following.

Login Failed: EJB System is not available.

I have the log file if anyone is interested.

Infor support seams not to want to help me with this, since
they are not supporting Windows 7 yet. And since you can't buy a new
PC
with XP on it anymore. I would think that they would get onboard with
Windows 7.
Normally support is really good, but in this instance, I think they
are
being short sighted.
