Bob,

When we delete a warehouse we just use query to verify that the quantity on
hand is zero. Then use SQL or a small RPG program to delete the Item
Balance records.

Unless there is some very good reason to delete them, I would leave the PDM
and Item Master records. There are many occasions when you way need the
item description for sales reports or other various reports. After a year
or two goes by and they are no longer needed, then delete them.

Just my opinion,
Greg

Subject: MAPICS -- Warehouse going away

Good Morning,
We have a warehouse we have closed and we want to delete all of the
data
that is associated with it. What is the best way to do a Mass delete all of
the PDM structures and Item Balances that associated with that warehouse.
