I have one customer that has written a 'sync' program of selected fields to sync from a primary site to other sites... we run it nightly. The users only wanted to maintain some field values in one site.

The way they would want this to work is for most item revision fields to remain in sync. However, they would want the fields in the item revision C file to remain different.

Basically, they want to control the values in the item revision A and B files from a single location. And they want to make sure they are consistent across sites with as little effort as possible.

YIKES! I don't think that is what EPDM sites are intended for!!! Anyone out there with multiple sites? We only have one site, so I can't test or suggest...

The situation is that the user wants any changes she makes to an item revision record in one site to ripple across all sites for that item revision record.

Does anyone know how to easily interface an add, change, or delete of a single item revision record into EPDM? I am trying to create a real-time interface so I don't think offline load will work.

Has anyone tried this?

Any assistance is appreciated.

Thanks
