Asok, I guess the simplest answer to your question is no. There is no tool
that I am aware of.. As far as I know you would have to write all your own
pgms to pull the data from the mapics database to your database.. A very big
job if you do not understand how mapics works and where info is... But if
you stay with Mapics.. Which of course would be the easiest thing to do..
And Being a MAPICS BIGOT... Mapics has upgrade paths from their lower
releases to the current release. Depending on the size of you data files and
how much history you have, could take less than a day to get current in
Mapics...
I recently completed a BPCS to Mapics conversion and we had to write all of
the pgms. Either to populate files directly. Or build what they call offline
load files and run a mapics canned pgm to create the data...I believe we had
at least 2 guys more than a year maybe longer doing this...
    Deciding to going to another software is probably an easy decision.. The
difficult part is getting there..
