You mean scs2pdf crashed or lp5250d crashed (or maybe the difference is
impossible to tell...)?  And acrobat also crashed?  On some very corrupt
PDFs acrobat will refuse to open them (and then sometimes shuts itself
down).

Are you sure you are running the same binary you were previously?  Has the
configuration on the AS/400 changed?
