The old way of sending the appropriate data to the AS/400 for signed numeric
fields has been happily deleted, as that was part of the duplicate data issues
that I took care of.  This will be re-implemented next version in the code
to transmit the fields to the AS/400, as the 5250 Functions Reference even
hints this is the proper place for that translation (shifting the zone of the
last digit and removing the sign).
