Websphere application server -- JAVA400-L

Hi All,
I have created WAS instance. using websphere admin console I have added http
port number to host name listed in default_host.
I started my default server.(QEJBSBS was up and running).
But I am not able to invoke  servlet "snoop" from browser.
I give " http: // myserver: port no/servlet/snoop"
it is not working(page cann't be displayed).
Would any one cane advice me on this..
