have compared the -verbose output between the two AS/400s; they're different,

VERY different, with some classes being loaded on one but not the other, and

vice versa, but I haven't made much headway in analyzing them, and in order
to 
post them without mangling them, I'd have to do so from home, perhaps
tonight.

Noting once again that the failing machine appears to have 3
different versions 
of the Java licensed program (1.1.6, 1.1.7, and 1.1.8)
installed, is there a 
way for me to select which one is
used?
