I could tell you the details, but then I'd have to kill all of you, and have
all your hard drives bulk-erased. But suffice it to say everything's done
with
sockets, proprietary handshakes, proprietary protocols, and a
proprietary
server/verification-server/child-server handoff, with the
servers written in
ILE C, that runs on V3R2, and was developed before the
AS/400 had any Java
support at all.
We weren't reinventing the wheel,
because the wheel didn't exist
yet.
