Is there not a browser-based admin client going to be available at some
point? Perhaps Frances can help on that possibility. I've always seen that
as the ideal, to be honest - NT servers with the right (large) amount of
memory aren't always easy to get hold of when wanted, the installation
takes time, the application is slow at the best of times, and I would also
love to be able to administer WAS easily when dialled in from home (as I
can the HTTP server and DCM, with the port 2001 browser-based facilities).

I should explain...

I don't want to have to install NT on a box just to run the admin client.
Linux is more handy (even win 98 would be nice). But one must buy the
linux
version just to get the linux client?

That doesn't seem quite right. It's free for an OS you pay for, but costs
$$ for an OS that's free. Maybe I'm misunderstanding.
