Hi All,

Monitoring what happens when an application server starts, I noted that both
DEFAULT_SE (standard application server actually running only supplied
examples) and IWAWEBACCE (the alpha release of Web Access) cause hundreds
(may vary, but reach several per second) of info msg SQL0595 <Commit level
*RR escalated to *EXCL lock> be written to a QSQSRVR job log until the start
process complete.

Last monitoring revealed that to-day, as far as DEFAULT_SE the msgs were
issued continuously from 07:23:35 to 07:32:10 and as far as IWAWEBACCE
(manually started later) from 10:06:14 to 10:16:21.

Is this a standard behaviour?

Best regards.
