Stefan,

Have a look at http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/alphaBeans and click on the excelAccessor bean. You can even download the source code!

Hope that helps,

Subject: How to download a file by aservlet ?

Hi there,

I want to make a download-page with links to some servlets.
By idee is:
After the user has clicked a link, the servlet behind collects some data which will then send direkty to the user by opening a save-as dialog pop-up box.

I need to produce Excel-files. For that I am testing the produkt Formula One by Tidestone.
Is there another tool which can produce Excel-Files from ODBC / JDBC ?
