1. Get Ad-aware. It is awesome and will kill this sucker off. 
   http://www.lavasoftusa.com

2. This thing probably hijacked your HOSTS file. Do a search for 'HOSTS*' on
your
   local machine, and take a look in the files it turns up.  It probably
redefined 
   'localhost' and a slew of others (www.google.com, www.yahoo.com,
www.msn.com, 
   etc.) to its own address.
   (and since CODE help uses URLS like http://localhost:49213, well, you get
the
   idea.)
