Edmund, this is exactly my problem.  Do you know if this is fixed in the new
version 5?  That would be lovely!

One of the limitations of CODE Designer's current support is that message
subfiles cannot be edited on the design page.
When we originally designed it, we thought message subfiles were restricted
to the message line, but we now know that the message subfile control can
contain visible fields.
I don't know if this is what you are hitting.

Before anything else, you MUST get the latest service pack. Then see if the

problem persists. If it does, then ask again.
