I think you'd do fine. Maybe put in another 256meg of RAM. Here's the
requirements spec from the announcement:

Workstation (minimum requirements):
· IntelŪ PentiumŪ II processor (600 MHz), or higher, recommended
· 256 MB RAM minimum (512 MB RAM recommended)
· When using the WAS Test Environment, a minimum of 512 MB RAM is
required.
· When using the CODE and VisualAge RPG classic tools, a minimum of
128 MB RAM is required.
· Required hard drive space: 1.4 GB
· Additional 500 MB of temporary hard drive space is needed during
product installation.
· VGA graphics card (800 x 600, or higher, recommended, 256 colors)
· CD-ROM/DVD drive
· Mouse or pointing device

At home, I'm using 98SE on a 500mHz AMD with 521mb RAM. I'm not using the
WAS test environment. Using RSE, CODE and the Debugger. Connecting with VPN
through cable connection. Works OK. At work, XP on something like a 1.5Mhz
PIII, not sure of memory - probably 256, maybe 512.

Sam,

Do you mind if I ask what size PC you have, and OS? I have read that
minimum requirements are P4 2ghz with 512gb RAM. This has kept me from
installing it. I have a P3 1.5ghz with 256gb RAM, and W2K.

I'd like to hear some real world testimonials so I can determine whether my
procrastination has merit.

Thanks,
Phil
