Hak,

I just got around to trying this. Unfortunately, I still got an error. Is
the aldoncms.jar IBM supplied or Aldon supplied? This is what my classpath
now looks like:

.;c:\wdt400\sdk\bin;C:\WDT400\JAVA;C:\WDT400\Studio35\lib\swingall.jar;C:\WD
T400\Studio35\

This is what I see in the command shell:

C:\WDT400\java>C:
cd \WDT400\java
jar xf C:\WDT400\extras\aldoncms.jar

C:\WDT400\java>
C:\WDT400\java>'jar' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

C:\WDT400\java>

Thanks for the help.

Chris

BTW, the error I get in code/400 is, "Aldon CMS integration requires Java to
be installed"

out an object it says "Unable to >>find all required classes".

The expert told me this:
1. Make sure that the SDK bin directory is specified in the PATH.
    For example, I have c:\wdt400\sdk\bin in my path.
     - this makes 'jar.exe' known.
2. Make sure that c:\wdt400\java is in the CLASSPATH
3. Select Extras->Change Management Tools->CMS
   -This will unjar the aldoncms.jar from the Extras directory and put the
class files into the Java directory.
4. Then CMS->Checkout Object.

Best regards,
    Hak
