You should be able to eliminate the error message insertion by selecting
'Options->Messages->Insert none' on the Error List Window.

I've been quietly living with a very annoying problem in Code, and I've
finally decided to ask if there's anything I can do about it. The problem
is that the Search/Replace function doesn't ignore the Error List comment
lines inserted by the verifier.

A typical usage scenario would be:

1) Run verifier over source that will generate RNF7030 (variable not
defined) errors.
2) Double click on first RNF7030 within the Error List window.

(now you're in the source member, with error lines embedded)

3) Select Find/Replace
4) Enter Find & Replacement text
5) Select "Replace all occurrances"
6) Click replace

The replacement function stops as soon as it encounters an embedded error
description which contains the text to replace.

Now, I can't imagine why I'd ever want to replace text within an embedded
error, but assuming that there's a valid reason, I'd at least like to be
able to turn this behaviour off via an option within the Find/Replace
dialog
box.

Is there anything I can do today?

Regards,

John Taylor
