I was able to reproduce that bug.
We will open a defect and fix it.

Oh Canada:

I have found 2 more problems with the CODE Designer. This is a very easy
one to duplicate. During a copy/paste of a field I was duplicating
multiple
times, I kept getting an Invalid Page Fault Error on module EVFFCLNT.DLL.
It turns out the problem happens when you duplicate a field with the
copy/paste options.

To create the problem, do the following steps:
1) Open CODE Designer
2) Create a new field on the screen
3) Rename the Field to the maximum allowed by the system
    (i.e. MAXIMUMLEN)
4) Now highlight this field and hit Ctrl - C or use the mouse.
5) Reposition the cursor to a blank area on the screen and Paste the new
field.

This will show the first problem. Open the Display file Record in the
First
window by hitting the + sign. You will notice that it has 11 characters
(MaximumLen1). I thought the limit was 10 Chars for field names. :) The
only way to rename this is through the Screen Tab 'field name drop down
box'. Once you delete the 11th character it will not permit you to go
beyond the 10 char limit again. Now repeat steps 3-5 on the 11 Char named
field and you will get the page fault error window. After you hit the OK
button three times it will exit the Code Designer without saving some of
the
most recent changes made. Good reason to have the AutoSave On. It looks
like it was able to handle 11 characters somehow but when it tried to add
the 12th it was more than it could take.

My OS system is WIN 98 SE and I am at V5R1M0 with SP5 applied.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
