I was looking at the Smart guides that came with Code/400
to get an idea how to convert my own and see there is an RPG
to Java method call Smart Guide. Oops, guess I should have
checked more closely before writing one. The shipped smart
guide doesn't seem to work within Code/400, but it runs just fine
from a command line or in VA/Java? Does anyone have any
idea why this is failing?

It also appears to be a near duplicate of what I wrote, the only
difference I see going through the code is that I supported some
input options like a directory (rather than a package) that this
one doesn't support and I didn't try to write the call code, only the
prototype. I also allowed the generation of prototypes for all
prototypes rather than one at a time.

It wasn't my intention to duplicate someone else's effort, I have
some other things to work on. Unfortunately, I don't think this
prototype generator is well advertised.
