Syntax error message for correct syntax

Hi,

There seems to be a small problem with the syntax checker for externally
described print files.  I'm seeing:

     A                                    65'Effective:'
     A            EFFD           8  0     +1
DDS7404S Plus value not allowed in indicated field.
     A                                       SPACEA(1)

But it compiles fine.  I'm at V5R1, service pack 3 (daren't apply 4 with
the VARPG problems).
