Hi Phil,

Sure, you can add variables to the 'Monitor' pane (bottom - left corner).
Just double-click to
highlight the variable. Then, bring up the pop-up menu (second mouse
button) and one of
the options will allow you to add this variable to the 'Monitor' pane.

Tooltip evaluation works fine for small strings and scalars. Complicated
data strucures do
require putting them into the 'Monitors' pane.

Hope this helps.

Subject: Distributed Debugger - Tool Tips (was UPDPROD)

Chris & Xuan - Thanks.

Thanks especially for this tidbit, Chris!

The next thing I ran into was seeing the value of the
variables. I turned on tooltips. Works fine except
for large strings. The tool tip goes off the page so
I can't see the whole thing. Is there another way to
see the value? I was hoping to see the current values
of all visible variables in one of the panes on the
left side (like you can do in VAJ.).

Thanks very much,

Phil
