Actually, many of the things that you used to do OVRDBF for can be
accomplished with the following f spec keywords:
EXTFILE('MYLIB/MYFILE')
EXTMBR(membername)
If they have quotes, they are a constant, otherwise you can use a variable.
We just had a case for this in a trigger program. Since the trigger
program is activated by Lotus there is no concept of a library list.
EXTFILE fixed the issue.
The person had his trigger program working interactively prior to this, but
then, when interactive, his library list was already set up.

As a test, I just pulled a source member from my system. The file
specified
doesn't exist on my system, thus I have to issue an override for it to
compile.

I hit <F9>, issued an OVRDBF file1 file2 command, then went back to my
source and hit the compile button. Dialog window said the source compiled
just fine, just as I'd expect.

Does this not work for anyone else?

Dave
