SP3 problem workaround?

It appears that I do not get problems with SP3 when using the STRCODE
session as opposed to an autostart server.
I wrote to Violaine Battish:
I downloaded SP3 for WDT V5R1, installed it, and rebooted.  I have not
noticed any problems as I use the STRCODE session instead of an autostart
server.  Some of the problems that tech support said would be resolved in
SP3 are still not resolved.  I asked tech support about one of my problems
that should have been resolved.  I am assuming they will be resolved in
later service packs since maybe they were considered not as important as
other problems.  I decided to test using an autostart server to see if I
got the same problems as others on midrange.com and I couldn't open up a
member in CODE like others reported.  This isn't too important to me since
I can get around these problems by using an STRCODE session but others here
would probably prefer an autostart server.  Please contact me about the fix
to SP3 as mentioned at midrange.com so we know what to do.  I and only one
other person have installed SP3.
