Volaine,

The version I'm using is V4R5M1 SP2.

If I happen to have the member open in a 5250 screen and forget about it,
and do a put to host, what I **don't** get is the PUT OK message. The only
message I get is >exit.

The annoying part is that it doesn't stop uploading when the member is
locked, which can be a long time (I always connect remotely, which is why I
don't use the STRCODE stuff). I've cancelled in the past but that usually
ends up with the server being "in use" until I end the app in task mgr and
call the /cm exit pgm. So I let it continue.

Like I said, I'm slowly learning to check these things before I upload.

But it would be nice for Code to tell me it **can't** PUT successfully
before uploading the file rather than **not** telling me the PUT was ok
after uploading the file.

Phil
