I am using CODE V4R5M1 on Win2k without incident.   Windows 2000 seems to be a far more stable platform than Win9x because you don't run out of graphics resources.  V3R2M2 does predate Win 2k.  Why don't you work with the current version?  It includes a whole lot more (VA Java, WebSphere Studio for HTML and JSP design, AND it is cheaper).

Subject:        Unable to load Code on Windows 2000

Hi...

Our college has decided to begin teaching Code as part of our AS/400
curriculum.  I'm trying to install the V3R2M3 version from CD onto a laptop
with Windows 2000 Pro.  The installation hangs installing the IBM
Distributed Debugger.  I gave it plenty of time to complete with no success.
I also tried to go back a just add the debugger but it failed with the same
symptom.  I looked in the archives here and on other sites as well as at IBM
but can find no similar problems (in fact I found no mention of Code/400 on
win2k at all).

Is this version (v3r2m3) supported on Win2000?  Any ideas what the problem
might be?

Thanks for any insight!

Ray
