This is the behavior I expect and prefer, given the choices. If I click
on some place on a hidden window and inadvertently start machinery
rumbling I would be unhappy.

that is my 'umble opinion, only.

Hello IBM,

We're now up to V3R2M3, and we're still plagued by one of the more
annoying
bugs that has been in the product since day one;

- two members are open in a horizontal split view
- take your mouse and click somewhere in the member that's *not* in focus
- cursor moves to the position that it was in the last time the member was
in focus.

The behaviour that I would expect here, is that the cursor is placed at
the
position where I click my mouse. This is how all other Win apps seem to
behave - and is certainly a more useful behaviour.

Is this not considered a bug by you folks? Is that why it still hasn't
been
addressed?

Regards,

John Taylor
