You can do a search on mcpressonline.com for sql2xml. This is an RPG
program that will take any Select sql statement passed in and put the
result set of data into an XML file. It is a great program to get data
into XML format.
It was written by Giuseppe Costagliola. He also has one for a CSV file.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [COBOL400-L] Converting AS/400 files to XML?

Hello.

I have been asked if I can deliver invoice-information on XML-format
from
an AS/400 COBOL-application. Does anyone of you know the best way of
doing this?

I'll make a flat file on the AS/400 containing the information needed,
but
how do I transform it into XML?

Mvh.
