We're on V6, but I think the method is the same:

Use SYS603 to get to the security groups then option 11 on the groups to
get to the options.

Options 1- 99 are the Actions, 101 - 124 are the function keys. Set the
Authority to 0 to switch off the function for that screen/program.

Only functions/actions that are listed there can be controlled in this
way. Keys like F1, F3, F12 are usually not controlled here. Not all BPCS
programs are set up to use this (at least at V6 - may be better at Lx).

If it's not set up here you'll need to rework the code to either use the
SYS006B2/SYS007B2 versions of the Action/Function builders or to delete
the action/function from the program. If you go the configurable route,
you'll need to manually add records for the program to the ZOP table
before going to SYS603 to set them on/off.
