I've spent a fair amount of time trying to automate the month-end process,
which call many of these (and other) programs. SSA has a program, SYS664,
which somehow overrides a security feature in these programs when they're
called. SSA doesn't give out the source code, so I can't tell what it's
actually doing, but you can probably get the programs to run by putting
your reorgs into a CL, and adding the line "CALL PGM(SYS664) PARM(SYS664)"
before each program call. I've used it on MRP500 and it's okay there. If
you can figure out how to get it to work on those programs that require an
active screen to pass data to, i.e. INV903, please let me know. I really
don't like coming to the office for monthend.

I am attempting to submit the BPCS reorganization programs to batch, and
am encountering an error message. The CL program that is submitted
performs the following:

CALL PGM(ACR970B) PARM(' ')
CALL PGM(INV970B)
CALL PGM(INV972B)
CALL PGM(SFC990B)
CALL PGM(ORD990B)
CALL PGM(INV971B)
CALL PGM(SFC971B)
CALL PGM(SYS990B)

The first program apparently completed normally, but the next (INV970B)
did not. I received the following message:

SYS0245 Security Check Failed

Followed by.

CPD0170 Program SYS656CK in library *LIBL not found.

Has any one else attempted to automate these jobs, and if so. how did
you do it?

Thanks!

Jim Sehi
