I assume you mean Item Class Codes.  The affect on your financials depends
on your ATP setup.  Is item class used by any of your aliases?  Do you use
item class in any of your models?  We use item class for all of our
inventory and billing transactions extensively to classify revenue, cost of
goods sold, and inventories by class.
