I think I've got my problem figured out. I need to use Postman, not a
browser, and my post string doesn't have xinput, I changed to use all of my
parameters and it's working.

you should only need this part:

xInput=zhbGetVar('xInput');

And make sure the name in the form making the request has that name for
the input variable. I believe CGIDEV2 is case sensitive as well.

If you can send a trace of the post that may help as well. You should be
able to get that in chrome, or using something like GETURI or HTTPAPI to
make the request for the test.

I Want to receive data from a POST that's sent from a credit card
company.

I started with the example program getpost. It writes output HTML so you
can type in sample post data and then it returns to show you it processed
it.

When I strip out the output and just read the input with these two
lines, I
get the correct number of variables received, but nothing in xinput.

// Get browser input
nbrVars=zhbgetinput(savedquerystring:qusec);
xInput=zhbGetVar('xInput');

Do I need something else to get the input data?

My complete program is simple, just trying to make sure I can get the
input
string.

ctl-opt dftactgrp(*no) Actgrp('GETPAYZR');
/copy CGIDEV2/qrpglesrc,hspecs
/copy CGIDEV2/qrpglesrc,hspecsbnd
/copy CGIDEV2/qrpglesrc,prototypeb
/copy CGIDEV2/qrpglesrc,usec
/copy CGIDEV2/qrpglesrc,variables3
*
xInput s 100

// Get browser input
nbrVars=zhbgetinput(savedquerystring:qusec);
xInput=zhbGetVar('xInput');

return;
