Getting variables from the URI -- WEB400

Just checking, I don't see how this is possible: I'm getting the variables
after the "?" from QUERY_STRING, but how about those in the actual URI ?

http://localhost:8080/shop/order/1001/receipts?date=12-05-2017

I presume it's up to my program to get order=1001 from the URI
