Thanks Brad,
This line was already in the .conf file. I commented out "DefaultNetCCSID
1208" and that worked for my tests.
But I'm wondering, does that mean I need to know what CCSID the 3rd party
will be using when they call my web service?

Hello,
I'm using QtmhGetEnv to get the URL from the http request. The text
returned is in ascii. Is there a line missing in my apache .conf file
mailingget round this, or am I missing something else?
Thanks
