I have a program that I use to start my Websphere 8.5 server. I'm trying to run it with a profile (QSYSOPR) that does not have *ALLOBJ authority. I went into the HTTP admin console and granted "operator" privileges for this profile to the HTTP server as well as the Websphere server. When I run my program under the QSYSOPR profile, the HTTP server starts, but the Websphere server does not. The command I am running in the CL program is QSH CMD(/QIBM/PRODDATA/WEBSPHERE/APPSERVER/V85/EXPRESS/BIN/startServer -profileName MyAppServer -nowait). There is a spool file generated with this message "CWNATV08E: No configuration defined for server: MyAppServer." I tried googling that error without any luck. Any ideas why this isn't working?
We are on 7.3, but I know we are behind on PTF's on that machine.
