Subject: [EXTERNAL] [WEB400] Reg: Decoding in IWS for IBMi
Sent by: "WEB400" <web400-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Everyone,

IWS for webservices in IBMi. Whenever a Encoded value is sent in URL, if
i
am mapping that value directly to the Parameter in this case the value
automatically decoded and the decoded value is available in the
Parameter
value, but when i try to get the REQUEST_URL, REQUEST_URI or
QUERY_STRING
value in Environment variable the values are not decoded automatically,
we
need to decode the value inside the RPGLE program.

In the Integrated Web Services Server Administration and Programming
Guide
document it mentioned QUERY_STRING and REQUEST_URI values will not be
decoded by Server.

So my guess here whatever values (Path or Query) i am mentioning as
Parameter while deploying the service will automatically decoded by
Server.

Can anyone confirm whether my assumption is right or wrong?
