Thanks.

Ya, just did *ALLPKG and CUM and it seems fine now. It could have been the
IPL as well as I haven't done PTFs for a couple months.

Oh well... things seem fine now!

I seem to recall we had a similar issue a while back after applying a non
Apache PTF. Applying the current Apache fixes fixed it.

Can't remember any more than that I'm afraid.

Mark,

It's V7R4. I decided to install the latest CUM and PTF packages since
it's
sunday so we'll see if that helps at all.

I've never seen web jobs just end without a job log before. VERY odd.
Especially since it just started happening.

Hi, Brad,

What VvRrMm of the OS is this on?

The only thing I can think of is, as the very first thing that CGI
program
does, call QCMDEXC to issue:

CHGJOB LOG(4 00 *SECLVL) LOGCLPGM(*YES)

and perhaps that might help to force a job log to get created?

Has anyone seen this error when running a CGI program using Apache:

Bad RequestStarting the CGI program failed. Could not communicate with
the
CGI program.

It is happening on a program that's worked great forever. I can't find
any
details in the logs or in the job log. I can recompile the program and
it
seems to work once, then quits working again.

The return code is a 400 from the server.

The error log seems to spit this out:
ZSRV_MSG0818: Error reading request entity data, referer: xxxxxxx

The access log just reports a 400 on the request.

I can see the HTTP job ending but no job log is created.
